Two more points, if you haven't been a space-junkie like me for years.
First, you can get pretty darned good quality video even on a low speed
connection and, second, if you happen to tune in and see video of scenes on
the ground at MSC, be patient: ISS's high-speed downlink still drops out for
periods during each orbit. This will be remedied within the next few months
and there will be the capability for continuous high-speed downlink.
