"Human nature" usually refers to congenital tendencies in behavior.
For an example of how this relates to human nature, see The Biological
Basis of Morality

For more on Human Nature, check out Behavioral Genetics

Behavioral genetics (AKA human nature) differs from laying everything on
the doorstep of god in that there is no evidence linking that "doorstep"
to human behavior, but there is plenty of evidence linking human behavior
to genetics and biology.
