more taxifornia power absurdities

And you thought you had heard it all.

Now the so-called governor has issued a papal decree that
empowers the sheriffs to issue 1000 dollar fine to any business,
such as a car dealership, which uses more electricity than
is necessary for security. You will likely read about it in
tomorrows newspaper.

I guess it had to happen: they held prices artificially low,
then effectively legislated away new power plant production,
then in effect put the state government in the power business,
so when the inevitable occurs, they attempt to legislate demand.
They aren't getting smarter, they're getting dumber. spike
