Dear Transhumanists:
My precipitous departure from this list left no chance to say 'goodbye', and so I am sending a message to do that now.
With regards to the politics--Somehow a personal conflict became public, even after the personal conflict had been resolved. I hope that people will let it go, because it involved Sasha.
In the last year of his life, we renewed our friendship and learned that we shared a similar history, and a similar struggle.
And, after his funeral, I nearly followed him. Luckily for me help was close at hand. The healing is slow, and hard work, and so I have dropped out of most activities. The past really does inform the present. What the future leads is unknown, but certainly it will lead to new adventures.
And, so, I wish all of you well in your endeavors.
