There are toxins, allergens, cancer causing chemicals in all foods.  Corn just
has an exceptional number of them.  Broccoli for instance has a lot of vitamins,
minerals, and anti-oxidants; while it has very few toxins.  So it is a very good
thing to eat.  With corn it is the opposite.  Corn has very little in the way on
vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants; while it has a large number of toxins.
Not to mention sugar, which is something your body is better off without.
Maybe in the future we will be able to re-engineer plants without so many
toxins.
