Oh, the equations are sound alright. The big question is whether the
standard formulation of Mach's Principal is correct or not. There's never
been this type of experiment to test it with before. I know that John
Cramer, who writes a bimonthly column for Analog magazine and who reported
on this theory some time ago, is on one of the six teams that received
grants from NASA to perform experiments in breakthrough propulsion.
Cramer's team is going to investigate Woodwards ideas further. I wish him
interesting results.
