In the meantime, Anders, you could collect together all the previous posts
on guns and gun control, categorize them, index them and add them to your
website, to ensure old ground is not covered again. Shouldn't take you more
than a few years :)
What's interesting about the gun debate is its US-centricism. Guns and the
freedom of the person are clearly linked, and are therefore closely
associated with core Extropian concerns. But I wonder how the arguments
might flow if the majority of the list members were from the UK, where very
few people own guns, and where even fewer argue that they should be freely
available. Concepts of freedom are certainly culturally-biased, and this
seems to be no exception.
