I'd say a fascist is a person who advocates a system of government marked by
centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic
controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and
typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
I have been repeatedly called a fascist simply because I support reasonable
gun-control. But I'm used to the fact that people who lack legitimate
debating skills usually resort to name calling.
