If your goal is to convince these futurists that fiat currency
is bad, I suppose your article is fine (though predicting a
"Really Great Depression", presumably meaning much worse than
the 1930's depression, _this year_ will give the impression
that you're a crackpot right off the bat).

If your goal is to introduce these futurists to transhumanism,
rewrite. All the fiat currency stuff will simply alienate the
uninitiated. It would probably be more interesting to speculate
on what might replace fiat currency than to rail against it
for 538 years (time of the "Bonehead" transmission :-).
