Mike,

I'm curious as to how you interpret the 16th Amendment to the Constitution:

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from
whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and
without regard to any census or enumeration."

Doesn't this claim that the Federal Government can collect an income tax?
I'm not sure on what basis you claim that a Federal Income tax does not
exist.

Also, if you could be more specific on the forms and procedures to opt out
of the tax system, I'm sure many of us on this list would be very
interested! I just got a $30K cash bonus from IBM, and less than half of it
actually made it through the direct deposit to my bank account.
