Yeah, divvy light speed up by a million or a billion units. Since light speed is
300,000 km per sec. we need a time standard too. Lets use some elemental vibration
rate that comes out to a relatively even million or billion cycles per year, or
something. A light year is our standard ruler, divvyed up into a billion parts.
Since Hydrogen is the most ubiquitous element in the universe, that would provide
an easy ruler to start from, to set a standard measure for mass, time, distance,
and volume. Absolute zero is another good constant I like.
