This dust book is a "legacy" project, started by the editors, and worked
on by others, years before the idea of my moving to Germany was just
a gleam in my eye. The original agreement (~8-10? years ago) with the
publisher was to use their specially-for-us designed (but very rough)
TeX macro. Now we can use anything we want, and just provide camera-ready
copy. However, to convert to some other typesetting system now would
require reworking 1000 pages of text and figures (it's a _big_ book).
I'm beginning the indexing now, and I've decided to use Knuth's indexing
macro in his TeXbook. If you or anyone knows of something better
for indexing (remember it is TeX, not LaTeX), please let me know.
