Yes it will. However, as I learned in college, beware of being too
daring when taking courses in the soft sciences. I've found a good
number of professors teaching such courses to be rather intolerant of
ideas that either contradict or pose a danger to their own most
cherished theories, papers, and memes. When you take a sociology class
from a feminist professor, don't write a paper trashing Margaret Meade,
that sort of thing.... If good grades are what you want, as well as to
be forward thinking, find out what your prof's own biases are, then
delve into the future along his or her preferred memetic evolution
lines. Sure it's intellectually hypocritical, but objectivity and
integrity are rare and wonderful things to find on campus these
days....
