Depends on your driving conditions Greg. Seldom do we Bay Area
types ever get to speeds in which aero-drag enters the equation
significantly. In this wonderfully overcrowded county, the SUV makes
a great deal of sense: distances are short, so gas mileage is practically
irrelevant. Yet if someone drives an expensive fiberglass hotrod, then
every civil servant with a radar becomes uncomfortably attentive, and
every twit with a corroded beater and no insurance feels free to
cut in front of ya. Big and gnarly works here. Humvees are good.
And, they come with a bullet-proof windows option.
