Not good of me to reply to my own email, but just a clarification. It has
been suggested that the term post-human is appropriate, but I wonder about
the term as it does not encompass the general idea that non-human lifeforms
can have their minds uploaded into an ethereal medium. For instance, if I
had a turtle (realively simple mind, _I suspect_), then it can also join
into the new collectively connected society: it's mind could be uploaded or
transferred or replicated, etc. This is I why I think that 'sentience
centered' may be a better term ?

I suppose that sometime soon (if not already?), experimentalists will be
able to train, develop and then replicate the minds of non-complex beings.

Matthew.
