It is quite obvious that OpenSource is going to create an increasingly
harsher environment for commercial OSses in general, especially in
regards to OSses/app bundles and secure systems. The critical
threshold of growth in regards to driver supply by equipment
manufacturers has been reached.

It is hence of little relevance what will happen to Microsoft. Whether
the state meddling capability will be sustainably strengthened, is an
interesting question.
